Curiosity about Automatic Twitter Followers
Curiosity about Automatic Twitter Followers
|
I had been thinking about trying Twitter for a few months, mainly to see if it helped get traffic to my sites. I had no intention of making a big thing of it. What I really wanted was an automatic way of tweeting.
I found it in Tweet Dynamite. The videos show you how to set yourself up to do automatic tweeting along with getting automatic followers. Using the Tweet Dynamite videos it took less than an hour to get everything set up. Without the videos I probably wouldn’t have figured it out.
Things were going good until about three days ago. Now, probably a couple weeks after joining, I checked my number of followers and it is slowing down to a crawl – that is, the rate of new followers being added.
Two days ago I actually had more followers than people I followed. While I don’t have a lot of followers, I don’t follow that many. Because I am using a free version of some software that helps automate the Twitter experience it’s limitations are now being felt.
It’s www.Twollo.com, using their hard to find free version that is very probably limiting my number of followers. The free version only allows two keywords and a maximum of 200 followers for each keyword. Theoretically I would assume that I could never have more than a total of 400 followers added to my Twitter account.
Well right now I have and 464 followers and 468 I am following. I imagine if I used their unlimited $5.99 a month or higher priced options I could have many times more followers. In my case all I really want is to get more traffic to my sites to see if having more traffic will convert to more sales. It seems it would, but in online marketing just having a lot of traffic doesn’t necessarily convert to making more money.
The traffic I am getting using two unrelated keywords is definitely not optimal, and the traffic is being spread over a dozen or more sites, but it seems to be working in getting some new traffic. However, I figure I need 10, 30, 100 times more traffic for it to mean much. I figure I have to upgrade my account with Twollo to do this. But I am happy with the results so far. I have posted a lot of tweets however, maybe 100 or more, but it was fun and helps keep me focused on internet marketing.
If you are interested in using Twitter in an automatic way (you still should do some manual tweets) Tweet Dynamite will show you exactly how to do it. Click the image or the link below.
