Pee Recycling?

A couple of months ago three astronauts gave a toast for a new drink on the International Space Station. If you saw TV or read the paper you know their new drink they were toasting with was – oh my gosh! Pee or the more refined term urine.

Is this a harbinger of things to come? The way things are looking in water starved areas like southern California and other such places that might just come to pass. How would you feel drinking cleaned up urine?

Well if you live in Southern California don’t be so sure the water you drink is so pure. According to the article the water we drink from the Colorado River is also reclaimed water. Apparently we get recycled water from a few other states before it reaches here. What! How come it is not widely known? Would people rebel?
