Everyone has heard of Google, well almost everyone. If you haven’t then you’re in the dark ages. If you have ever searched for something on the internet then chances are you have used Google search engine at one time or another. Yes, there are other search engines, but they have much less information indexed for you to find.
Although we’ve all heard of Google, probably very few of us really know how Google works. That is, when you use Google to do a search. Google does a lot of things and has a lot of free applications, as well as the ads you see on a lot of pages on the internet. There may be one of their ads on this page or this site. But here we are just interested in the processes they use regarding their search engine.
Here is a Google processes infographic where the processes Google uses to get the data they show you whenever you do a search using them is explained in a picture representation. This infographics is compliments of Quick Sprout blog. As you can see below, it is very interesting and informative. It also has a lot of animations unlike most infographics.
