The Fed and snooping
I just finished watching “Human Force” which is a new series on FOX TV. As usual it was very good. I don’t watch much TV, in fact right now only two shows, 24 and Human Force. Once in a while, when I think about it and am not busy I watch Nova, which I have been watching sporadically for many many years.
Anyway since I am heavily involved in the internet and have been working with mainframe computers since the early seventies and PC’s since they were invented I always like to see how they use computers in the series. As usual someone is always hacking into government secured systems, like the FBI, etc. Well tonite on Human Target the girl hacked into the FBI computer system and uploaded a fake identity and tapped into the video surveillance system.
This is rather routine stuff on TV and in the movies. It’s illegal, but I just read an article about how Federal Agents have infiltrated the social networks. Don’t know if it’s true or not, but I rather suspect it is true. The article has since been removed.
That seems like something the government would do. If individuals do such things they are in big trouble if caught, but not the Fed.
