New Ideas Galore

Today is another hot summer day like the previous five days of over 100 degrees. It’s maybe not quite as hot – well lets’ see. I am going to walk outside in my short pants, barefooted on the side driveway which bakes in the hot summer sun. Yes it is hot, but less than the previous days. Still to hot to walk to the gate and back (maybe 100 feet total) without my feet hurting from the heat and running back to keep from getting burned.

Today like many others lately my head is filled with new ideas galore and no time to even attempt most of them. They all revolve around cutting back my time on the Internet, but making more money from the Web. At one time in the distant past ideas were hard to come by, but it is just the opposite right now. Problem is I am committed to several things all at once. Trying to figure out how to handle everything is not easy because our little business in our home sucks up a lot of my time, always at unexpected times.

I am planning how to create and promote my new domain Registry site – which I haven’t put up yet. It could be more than plans since I could do it now, but it will take a lot of time understanding all the processes involved in selling domain names and hosting and related products. Some of it I already know since I had well over 600 domain names myself at one time not too long ago. I also could be considered almost an expert with hosting, compared to some, since I’ve had probably 75 or more websites at one time or another. Even right now I have … to many to count, but at least 50 on several different hosting plans.

In the process of thinking about that site I am in the process of digesting data from many books related to an idea I have about that site. That takes time, especially difficult to find with my uncontrolled schedule at the present time.

I have many domain names up for renewal and I cannot hold off any longer. I wanted to renew most of them with my new registry – but I don’t have it ready yet so there goes another $500 or more essentially wasted.
Several of my domain names I had plans for a site for them, but no time to create and maintain anymore sites has stalled those potential web properties.

I have ideas about a membership site I wanted to create that would be real fancy, but hadn’t decided on the topic of the site. That will have to wait many months or longer.

In a future post I may mention some specific ideas I have or will be working on. Most of my ideas lately have been toward making money from the Web as indicated earlier, so if you are interested maybe leave me a comment so I know so. If I get enough comments then I will consider exposing some of these ideas and/or projects.
