Recipe Websites for Sale
I have quite a few websites. In fact way too many and I don’t have time to promote them. Here are two recipe websites that I put up over a year ago. I haven’t promoted the larger site, and only a little for the small site. You need to increase the traffic that goes to them.
The sites are not currently making any money (at least not enough to be worthwhile). They are a long term investment and you will have to get traffic to them.

These are custom sites. They are NOT cookie cutter sites. They are html/php sites that I bought. The small article site is very basic and the function of both sites is to offer information on the topic the site is about. There are ads on the site and if anyone clicks on the Adsense ads a small amount of money (a few cents) is made. In order to make the sites profitable one needs to get links (relevant to the theme of the site) to the site and much more traffic coming to the site. That will boost the traffic to the site.
The small article site has one Clickbank product also on the site. A visitor to the site must click on the ad and go to the website selling a product. There they must buy the product for a commission to be made. Both sites have Amazon.com ads on them. If anyone clicks an Amazon ad they go to Amazon.com to the product. If they buy the product a small commission is made.
The article site has 6 articles on it. It will need new articles added to it on a regular basis to have a chance to make decent money. This means you need to write articles (easy, but it takes time) or have someone else write them for you. Cost for someone to write articles varies from about $5.50 to $20 per article, or more, depending on the quality of the article and who wrote it. There are also membership sites with prices from about $10/mo. to $97/mo. that sometimes have articles matching your site’s theme. The larger site has 5000 recipes on it. Additional recipes could be added if desired. Visitors can add their own recipe(s) to the site. This site also has a banner ad on it for additional money potential.
The sites are already installed on my hosting accounts. I will give the buyer two months of free hosting. After that time they can get their own hosting, or they can continue hosting the site on my hosting at $5.00/mo. for the small article site, $8.00/mo. for the larger site. If the buyer gets new hosting I will install the site on their hosting, if their hosting company will not do it.
Take a look at the sites. I am selling the small site for $65 and the larger site for $100. You can buy one, or both for $130. Sites include the domain name and 2 months free hosting. Also a few additional article pages are included to make a total of 15 articles for the article site. You will have to add the new article pages and links to the pages, or copy the articles and edit as desired, then add to the site.
Anyone new to Internet Marketing needs to know that these (any) sites must be promoted to make money. This means you have to get as much traffic to them as possible. This is done various ways, including getting links to them, submitting articles, posting notice on blogs, etc. It will require some Work. Probably you cannot afford to pay someone else to promote them for you due to excessive costs, even if you can afford to pay for that work, unless you look at the sites as a very long term profit maker over a period of years.
The site (s) will be yours. You can do anything you want with the small site. You can modify the articles, add more ways to make money with them. You can add your own or other affiliate products to sell. The larger site cannot be modified, but new recipes can be added. If you know php you could conceivably add articles or modify the site, but it needs no modifications.
